myExperiment
Jun notes:
"This is very much about building a light-weight Experiment Web, which includes workflows, data, as well as provenance.
I can see a few points that might be interesting to us:
- Helen's task, which is about inputting and recording experiment hypothesis etc. I am expecting a lot human resources to be put into making a usable user interface for myExperiment, as well as a Web-based Taverna :)
- sharing our image Web together with the Experiment Web. Manchester does not have experts in dealing with image data very much, but we do. I can see this is another point of experimenting with publishing our Image Web as a service to third-parites, as what we are going to do with Intute?
- personalization: the whole point of myExperiment is about personalisation, as the myIntute, and myGrid."
I (GK) like the idea of a Web-based Taverna. And I also like the idea of ImageWeb being part of a larger collaboration.
